Does Arch use systemd? I'm sick of this shit.

ahahaha you dumbass
OK what aspect of systemd doesn't work
bamping for your mom
I go out of my way to install systemd on Gentoo systems.
>>54544211
yes it does, gentoo doesn't

You fail at life

Arch uses systemd. Unless you wanna go gentoo or arch OpenRC (Which is a huge pain) you might look at void linux. It's a lot like arch, but uses runit. Shame there really isn't the AUR tho

I tried Devuan, but the installer requires more work than it is worth to make function.

Yes. Arch is a lightweight and flexible Linux® distribution that tries to Keep It Simple.

It’s been really easy to install openrc on my arch.
>>54544211
It's optional.

It's not really that bad, but void linux is pretty good as an alternative. Honestly installing gentoo is probably the best choice. I'm thinking of switching to gentoo or slackware personally.

Thanks for the tip, was keen to try Devuan... Next steps might be to move to either BSD or Windows Server.
>>54544211
You can openrc it

Use Devuan's CLI installer instead because that one actually works. Also Devuan beta has that little issue from Debian Jessie were sudo isn't installed during installation, so you'll have to do it manually yourself.
