I'd like to upgrade my PC by installing another GTX 970.
I'm just curious if there are still mirco-lags with SLI. Any Experience or recommendations?

The 970 is already seeing some price drops though, found one for $250 so maybe wait for a comparison between a 1070 and 970 SLI

Enjoy your 30% performance increase for the 100% price.
970 is also the worst card for SLI, since more performance makes it all the more likely you will be bottlenecked by your 3.5GB memory.
Like >>54540279 says, you should sell your 970 while it still has some value and buy a 1080 when it is released.
