Good day /g/ents Quick and Dirty Reviews guy here

Don't want to make this one too long of a post, but I love to help inform people on /csg/ about products from China and how they perform. A while ago an anon asked for an audio comparison between the BM-800 and other generic microphones. I have prepared the video (Apologies I'm very new to video editing and this took me a while to get patched up, was going for a vaporwave theme) and I hope you all find it useful!

Here is the said audio comparison test.
https://youtu.be/W9N1i7qmf94

And here is the channel.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNEcL1eSr7FeA4RMQE6UXxg

I hope I can be a good source of information for any of you out there seeking quality controls on Chinese products. Best to all! Happy shopping, may you all be blessed with lightning fast shipping and killer deals.

Hey bud I just want to make a note on the USB hub you reviewed the other day https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtImjPSBepM

I have one here sitting next to me and honestly its a piece of shit. At the moment I only have a USB wifi adapter plugged in and its fine, but as soon as I try plug anything else in it shits itself and spazzes out disconnecting and reconnecting things rather than running both slower

Ill add to the video description, thanks for the heads up. Mine seems to work well with all four ports occupied no issues, but this may be caused by the fact that the hub itself can only provide power divided from its input current. Thus if you have something with a high current draw (Such as a wi-fi adapter or USB fan) you might be causing uneven power distribution. It could also be a bad solder joint causing intermittent short circuits within the unit. If I were you I would ask for a replacement unit, seems like you got a factory defect. Note that if the issue is the power delivery of the hub then this can be solved by using an external power supply, after all as I described in the video there is a DC Input jack on the side for such cases. I would recommend only using it with low power devices. LED's, Flash memory, Data card readers... Anyway still I will add to the description and if you can send me the faulty unit I will do a followup video. I'm here for the better of /csg/ not to shill a youtube channel.

They are actually pretty fast to ship shit out of china, but then once it reach your country if they have a rule of "no tracking = no priority" like in my country, then you're fucked, but if they don't give a fuck about it not having a track code it should be faster than China Post Registered.

$10 bucks for the convenience, then I suppose.

buying stuff from china seems to mostly be for people who are willing to wait to get the savings though. Basically, I'd say if you can find something good for cheap here that you need relatively quickly, probably just buy it from Amazon, but if it's not super important and you'd rather spend less money, then get chinamen shit.

To be honest chinese "regular" cameras are shit, you're better getting a chinese smartphone with an amazing camera but "outdated" specs, for example the Meizu MX4 has a fucking mind blowing camera and shit is

$160 burger coins:
22.7 MP camera
Downside? only 16GB Internal and no Micro SD slot, so you will be limited to like 30min of video before you need to stop and transfer the video to your PC.

You will not get a better camera for this price.

Bought this 2 weeks ago for ~$13 from gearbest and it arrived 2 days ago.

The good:

>fun as fuck for so cheap
>surprisingly durable (survived multiple crashes including a hard nose dive into concrete)
>decently quick (need a nice open space if you really wanna use the fastest speed)

The bad:

>controls are kinda strange, but it's easily flyable after 2-3 practice flights
>rubber boots fall off easily, use glue to stick them on
>flight time is weak but expected, make sure to get the extra batteries

Having the boots on is pretty important for having the device calibrate and hover properly.

Unfortunately I'm still waiting on the extra batteries so getting some real flight time in is annoying.

Pretty much. I just chuck it in 360 mode and try to do tricks without running into in the walls/roof of my shed.

so a little update about the note 3 pro loosing signal:

the xiaomi "SUPPORT" wants me to flash back china stable over my global stable, my phone had it originally, according to my IMEI, and that was the problem. AFAIK loosing signal can happen with all roms.

GAYBEAST support can't do much, except they said my 45 money back was out, i can either send the phone for repair, or get ~31$ back. I can't send it back, because I don't have any backup phones now. I might jew about the money and try to get more back, it's supposed to be a smartPHONE after all.

Yesterday or the other day came 7.3.2.0 china stable, and a guy on the forums says it fixed the sleepy modem for him. Can't flash it now (couldn't verify update) and have no time to fuck around with it, but I hope global stable will come out soon. What's the difference btw ? china stable has no gapps, but their baidu shit ?

You can easily get 50% of battery life by entering the BIOS and lower the voltage to the SoC to 2V instead of 5V.

The fucking chinks have 5V by default when the Z8500 only should get 2V. 5V is causing the low battery life and overheating issues on the tablet.

It's an easy fix. Alsl there is an easy cooling mod guide if you want to cool it even better.

you can probably get away with just doing a reset in the system settings but if you have a funky version or a shit load of unnecessary partitions, I would format and reinstall fresh. You can probably grab the drivers from techtablets but I would back up what you have first just in case.

Review time, /csg/
I bought this very cheap USB sound card from Aliexpress for 0.74€.
It's plug and play.
I usually had a very hard time with devices who needed drivers, but it installed by itself in a few seconds.
I bought it because I needed it as phantom power for the BM800.
I didn't get the BM800 yet so I can't test it.
I tried it with my ATH headphone and the volume was 2 times louder. The sound was a bit distorted at 90% of volume.
The mic was way louder. Will probably fit if you need cheap phantom power.
The product worked on my Aukey USB hub flawlessly.
The only bad thing is the flashing light. You can put some tape to cover it though.

If you want to find it (I'm on mobile right now) : type 5.1 USB to 3.5mm mic headphone jack stereo headset 3d sound card audio adapter PC free shipping

If it's aliexpress, open a case and let aliexpress handle it. Yeah, NP. I ended up opening a case because I figured that if I got the items in the allowed time then I could just close it but if I did not get my items at all or in the allotted time, I should get my money back. Wait until the buyer protection is nearing the end to open a case though. They don't get their money until after the time has expired and no action has been committed or if you mark the item as received so their goal is to get you to let the protection expire and then they get free money (or less likely it just got delayed or lost in transit).
