Get a damn iPhone if you want to use that mess honestly.
Almost none of those apps are optimized well for Android anyways
>>
Lenovo K3 note. Came prebundled with some chinkshit ad/malware that I had to root to get rid of. Great specs for a low price but the battery life is not as good as you'd hope for, only about 7 hours talk time and will drain 30-40% over 24 hours idle.

Can't complain too much, it's good for the price I paid and will suit me fine until I have enough money to buy a non chinkshit flagship.

Considering flashing a new ROM but not sure which.

The Nexus 6p was the first time buying a used cellphone. Sadly I bought it from someone who didn't had the retail box nor the receipt so it is not under warranty but it's a strong phone, so I don't worry that much.

Considering I saved about $200, buying it used was well worth it compared to buying it from the Google Store. Just don't forget to ask and make sure that it has the box / receipt unless you trust the seller.

Motorola moto X pure reporting in. 32gb with 128gb microSD, Black and grey, textured back. Bought it for $200 from a friend minus the microSD card.

Great non AMOLED screen, 3gb RAM, hexacore cpu, amazing battery life, near stock Android, kick ass camera.

Pros:
>hueg screen with qHD resolution
>high quality 16MP camera with manual mode
>powerful CPU that doesn't afraid of anything
>battery life is pretty decent once you turn off NFC and Sync
>Pretty clean version of Android, compared to other flagships
>doesn't force you to sign in with an online account to use
>32GB internal memory

Cons:
>expensive (around half k unlocked)
>lackluster battery performance without tweaks
>buttons placed on the back is awkward to use
>LG 'Smart' software is just optional bloat

Overall I'm pretty content with this purchase and look forward to using this phone for years to come.

afaik a lot of reviews just talk about the build quality. I'd love to get one and turn on gpu rendering to see if the screen lag is better or worse than the device I have now.
Because touchwiz drastically hinders stock android to the point where I'm not sure it's worth it. Although they have the best hardware, by far. If you care most about that then go for it. If software, custom roms, root ability, batt life, are more important then I'd get something else.

I myself am torn to see if the Xperia X performance will work in the US and to see if HTC is making the next Nexus.

Just got my 10 today.

Sitting next to it is the HTC m8 that had troubles with battery running to zero recently until I had to just replace it coincidentally pretty much at the end of the usual two year phone cycle people have.

I could see from the first power up of 10 that you are paying for a nice experience, even the vibrations are now more elegant. Something you won't see mentioned in reviews is how the metal back, while similar to the usual metal HTC offers, is now reasonably grippy - something that plagued the m8 for me enough to wear a case just to hold the damned thing.

I will enjoy the 4Gig RAM mostly for handling Clover actually, fucking floens.

Doesn't feel flimsy at all so I think I will just use it without a case. There is Uh-Oh protection anyways.

Don't know what the iphone 6 has but it's a Sony 8MP sensor and the K6000P has 13MP Sony IMX214, so of course without factoring in the lenses the scaled 13MP will look better.

Usually iPhones, but also the Sony Z, Moto X Pure, and Nexus 6P. IMX230, 258, 278, 377 are the good ones.

You can use kimovil to find sensors/devices and GSMArena to compare.

Anyone mind recommending me a phone?

I use mainly texting and gps and a few apps and music . no games. I need the battery life to last at least 15hrs.

Is there a current Xiaomi phone that supports MHL? Looking to upgrade from my Xperia Z2 but no real motivation to do so since it's still a top notch performer.
>>
>>54538917
MHL sucks in comparison to microHDMI.

I had both so far and with the hdmi devices I could pair keyboard and mouse via bluetooth, USB hub with charging via USB otg and the screenoutput came out via hdmi.

That was a few years ago, 2012 and 2013 where I had these devices.
And MHL did not fix this as far as I know, or?
Are there MHL adapters giving USB otg, hdmi and charging?

Nexus 5X

>Mini Review
It's ight. It's what you'd expect from paying less than $300 for a google smartphone. So since it's cheap there isn't too much to complain. The camera is an awesome bonus and sometimes the phone gets hot while doing shit.

I know this because I used to have a Symbian Nokia N8 that had hdmi out and keyboard and mouse support. I'm using MHL at the moment with my Z2 for Kodi watching on my TV.

Z3C

What I don't like:

- touch screen subpar, wrong readings at star/end of touch event
- piece of shit rear camera lens that got scratched just by looking at it
- rear slippery as fuck, thing will just creep out of your hand
- horrible bloat, most can be disabled but it's hours of work
- RF performance little bit worse than iphone
- voice call quality not on pair with iphone, calls sound thin and harsh, maximum volume could be higher
- with 5.0 upgrade there's no global equalizer anymore
- no reverse polarity protection on magnetic charging port

Honestly every social media app I've seen and used (friend is an applewhore) is actually a pleasant experience. Trying to use any of it on Android is futile. Updates take twice as long, regardless of how good your camera sensor is, whatever app you're using, the picture or video will still look like shit, and, especially facebook is such an insane memory and resource demon that I find it appalling that such a thing is even allowed to exist.
