Everyone at work uses whatever crusty, generic pens they can find, while I enjoy perfectly smooth lines, a nice grip, and a great clip.
However, it comes with a few downsides. One girl told me it was weird that I always have the same pen, implying being responsible was a turn off.
Another girl asked me if it was my pen when I let her use it. After telling her that I had bought them, she laughed and thought I was joking. When she realized I was serious, she rolled her eyes and cringed.
Finally, after misplacing it briefly, a few coworkers gave me strange looks when I asked them if they had seen it.
Fucking normies.

Lamy Safari for normal work, it's alright I guess, but as much as people say it's amazing for the money, it's not.
I just use a bic ballpoint for serious stuff because they're shit but reliable and cheap
I used to have a Jinhao X750 and it was brilliant for the money, I'd reccommend to anyone, but they are pretty inconsistent so it's a gamble if you'll get a good one or a shit one. Even if you get a shit one it's only like £1 wasted.

Huh, sounds like the women you were talking about are real stuck up skanks. My girlfriend is pretty accepting about my pen autism and even bought me a dip-in-ink fountain pen for Christmas since she couldn't afford much.

let's not forget the papermates which are lighter and thus more agile than any other pen, yielding superior ergonomics due to size, but also an unprecedented price/performance ratio

Actually owned the middle pen in that pic, can't find it now but it felt nice and had some heft to it which I liked. Ballpoint quality wasn't the best but it did its job

I prefer to use fountain pens but I usually have a 0.5mm G-2 as a back up and for checks.

Zebra 701 with Fischer space pen refill. ~12$. Is as smooth/ smoother than a baby's ass. Highly recommend if you want to love your pen more than your life

Fountain pen
I use Bulow/Jinhao pens from xfountainpens.com. my favorite ink is rose cyclamen by j. Herbin. I've had 2 of them since high school 6 years ago and they continue to serve me well.
