What are some /g/ approved non-snakeoil ways to gain more range outta an external wifi adapter with an antenna, preferably without buying shit?
I tried making it into a directional antenna using a bowl and some tinfoil, marginal results, not worth the hassle of setting up, but then again i can't into physics and shit so i probably got the angles wrong or something.
