How many of you use your keyboard properly?
My left hand is fine, it's my right hand that ends up trailing away from the home row. Any suggestions/resources on how I can break this habit?
Have any of you had any luck learning to type properly in your adult years? Is it even worth it to essentially relearn to type? I type around ~90 wpm, but even that works up a sweat.
>tfw i type at 160 wpm with 2 fingers

Is the word "hi"?

>proper keyboard technique
it doesnt matter.........

I don't really have a technique
When I type, its kinda like hunt-and-peck using both hands, with my thumb and three fingers
I type decently fast though

I'm the same way. I feel like I could use my pinkies so much more efficiently.

index finger on left hand
index and middle finger on right hand
10fastfingers is not real wpm, it's just lowercase words with no punctuation or anything
still cool and a good measure of general speed
5 fingers right hand
2 fingers left hand
realized two months ago that my typing technique is shit. but don't care anyway
i type alot of different ways. proper is hard because i cant move my pinkies like other people can but still i average 110 wpm.
I don't have any technique, I learned to type playing runescape.
My fingers just go wherever feels natural. I think my max is 150+.
I feel like a big part of learning to type quickly/efficiently is learning it when you're young.
Growing up playing computer vidya, I got uses to my left hand dominating a majority of the keyboard so like my left hand drifts over and I only use my right hand for the far right
i use the index and middle fingers of both hands
my left thumb gets used for shift only
i can get over 90 wpm like this without a drop off in accuracy
i've tried the home row meme and it just hurt my wrists
letting your hands go wherever they want feels so good
