Brainfuck, the language based on symbols instead of keywords. Who programs with this language and what do you use it for?

What the fuck does this even mean?
> Who programs with this language and what do you use it for?
Brainfuck is esoteric programming language, it's meant to interesting not useful.
Writing a Brainfuck compiler or interpreter is a good 1-3 day project.
>>54520304
>1-3 day project
It takes 10 minutes, it's so stupidly trivial to write an interpreter
>>54520280
>>54520244
it's a meme
nobody uses it for anything except for posting on github
Highly obscure hard-on-purpose timesink for highly angry CS dropouts looking for a way to pretend to be better than their friends who have jobs now.
>>54520244
Nobody uses it.
>>54521266
Lol, you're just dumb.
>>54521266
Sounds to me like you're just bitter about something.
It's not for everyone lol.
>>54520244
I build all my apps in brainfuck
>>54521266
or maybe a way to show that they are genuinely better than their friends that have API-gluing code monkey jobs while they yack it up as consultants and managers in industries other than pure IT
brainfuck is just a turing machine implemented in a subset of C
>>54520244
It's on the same tier as lolscript
>>54520356
desu this is pretty close to assembly
>>54523172
No, you're an idiot.
Fuck off.
My brother knows it (semantically). It's fairly impressive. But he doesn't know it well enough to know how he'd have to manipulate it to do actual code is in.
When you start considering what writing real software (or just implement a simple Palindrome checker) would be like it starts getting obvious where the large flaws are aside from just being a mess to type.
>>54520244
>Who programs with this language
Hobbyists
>and what do you use it for?
Fun. It's a joke language, called a "Turing tarpit".
>>54520244
>what do you use it for?
Proving other languages TC

Then write a scheme interpreter in scheme.
