So has anyone found the location of the actual filesystem the Windows 10 bash shell uses? I mean the actual storage of the ext4 filesystem.

does not use ext4, as far as I know it just talks right to your NTFS. You can create files on disk in winbash and they appear in windows explorer and vice versa

Is it true windows can't see ext4 partitions? So if i put my /home directory in an external ext4 partition, windows won't be able to see my files, but only linux will?
