Weather underground is my favorite by far. They've got the best radar and the most local data. A bunch of my neighbors on my block have weather stations set up and they send in their data. It's really neat

Guess you guys don't live in a severe weather area. Try living in tornado alley without actual weather information. You avoid the radar and you get sucked up, then never hit the ground
