Since like 2003 I've had the same 512MB creative muvo. Though I use it rarely, mostly when I'm working.
>Handheld console:
grow up
I usually buy new things every 12..18 months

>PC
this comes down to definition. Every single part in my PC from mobo to psu has replaced the one that came before it, for a lot of them this goes back generations.
so technically this pc as a project / as "my PC" goes back like 10 years.
But my PC in its current state only goes back a week

>Phone
Nexus 5 since like 2-3 years back.
>PC
HP Probook 4330s that I had in school from about 4 years ago and bought out for $50 when I finished. And then my desktop that I bought 3 years ago, with a graphics card upgrade a year ago.

First phone I had I kept for 2 years until I decided to keep with the times and get a smartphone.
Second phone was a HTC that I had for roughly 2 years until it broke.
Third phone was a Nokia Lumia 520, that broke after a year or so, replaced it with a better model Lumia.
Now I have a Note 4 that I'll probably keep until my contract upgrade assuming it doesn't die.
Had a laptop for 4 years until I decided to get a PC last winter. I've had that for a year and a half now but I'll probably keep it for a good few years.

Until it breaks or becomes unusable.
Example: My phone. I've never owned a smartphone and my shitty Nokia slider does calls and texts like a champ. I don't give a shit about how outdated it is, as long as the tech does what I need it to do.
Until it absolute falls apart. examples
iphone 3gs -> lg g2
core2quad -> pentium g3528 (dead motherboard)
macbook pro 2009 core2 -> thinkpad x201s i7
So far I've only ever gotten rid of phones.
I still have every computer, even if I don't use them much.

Forever. can't trust selling anything because of the nudes and pron.
My desktop is 8 years old, though I upgraded it a bit a long the way (added extra RAM, replaced the original video card I had because it broke)
My phone is from late 2012, it was the first smartphone I had. Before that I had cheap and crap samsung and sony ericsson phones that sucked.
Mp3 player: Sansa clip from 2011

I had a zune that was given to me as a gift. A fucker dropped a suitcase on it while on a plane, so it broke. He gave me $200 to replace it, and I spent that on a PS3 lol
>handheld console
