Right now I have this POS glass desk but on friday a nice new desk comes in.

What I use.
I use an Ahrend desk similar to this one. I got it for free from my boss when the office got equipped with new desks that can be toggled between standing and sitting modes. Complete waste of money really as nobody uses the standing mode.
Is it possible to put together L desk with stuff from Ikea. It looks like you can't really put their desks together for that purpose?

I had to buy a desktop and separate adjustable legs at IKEA because I'm not a fucking manlet who can fit under a regular IKEA desk. Fuckers. Still, joke's on them because it ended up costing me £45, which is £100 less than I'd budgeted for .

I have an old heavy as shit oak desk from the 90s its not going anywhere anytime soon.
I have some carbon fiber sheets and epoxy, and have access to a kiln. Is it worth making a desk out of that with aluminum tubing as the legs?
