hey there, f-fellow nerdlings!
i've come to ask something important of you,
do you want to help the future of videogames?
im trying to create a perfectly randomized text-based rpg in python [to be rebuilt in full in a 2d or 3d engine upon completion and release]
all i have right now for you to work with is a town-creation spread.
email me at [email protected] for it,
dont worry, ill see you, thats for my porn and rp spam.
feel free to send me those as well ;]
im doing it through email and not giving it out here so that i can collect everyones pieces and send out the patchwork of all of it to everyone.
of course the games will include your credits [the python game will be given out for free probably, and ill select people to work with me on the 2d-3d platform when that becomes viable from those interested in forming a production team.]
tl;dr: email [email protected] if you want to build the python text based adventure we've always dreamed of.

everything is random.
locations are random.
people are random.
quests[unimplemented] will be random and consistant with internal world necessities spawning from individual npc's in various settlements/factions
storehouses will be randomized with product that changes with a consistant supply flow which can be manipulated through bribery and theivery.
wars can be won, instead of held up as a plotline.
heroes can be born, found, trained, and betrayed.
of course i have jack shit right now.
halp.
pls.
viedoegems need you.

videogames need /g/

It's actually quite the other way around: You're more likely to find someone who has assisted in game development before, let alone someone with any programming experience, on /agdg/ than opposed to here.
Unless you need help configuring Xorg, in which case you're at the right board.

rargh!
no replies there, and i got taken down on /v/
no emails at all ;_;
i just want to make the best game ever and share it with a community that can appreciate it and the shared work involved.

You're better off doing this on your own. If you run into obstacles then you'll have better luck getting replies by posing specific questions in either /agdg/ or /g/'s /dpt/.
If I knew any python I'd probably shoot you an email, but I'm still learning the language.
