Who programs in elm here?
>>54481024
I really wanna get into it but it's so rare that I do anything on the web that I haven't had a chance to. Although I'm pretty sure I'll end up preferring Purescript if I use Elm, assuming it has good FRP capabilities.

Why you keep posting this ugly cunt in all haskell threads? Faggot
Can you even call yourself a real functional programmer if you don't wear these?

Is scheme really only good for educational purpose? I'm reading good things about racket.
Should I choose clojure over racket for actual programming (like practical things)?

Scheme gets a bad rap for being so easy to learn and use. Racket is a scheme-based Lisp. It's not really Scheme anymore, it's a very big language. I'd definitely say it's good for "actual/practical" programming. The documentation is great, there's a shit ton of libraries (most important part for actual/practical programming), and it's easy to get up and running. It comes with some very nice Lisp-y image libraries that layer over OpenGL, which is a huge benefit. It comes with really good standard libraries for creating cross-platform GUI's too. Pick Clojure if you already use Java, want Java errors/stack-traces, and need to use Java libraries. Otherwise, I'd say go with Racket.

There is already a functional programming general in the catalog, with the frog on it.
