I'm comfortable with my pirated Windows 7 computer. Everything is where I know it to be and it makes sense. Windows 10's menus and settings are a horrible mess, and it's very difficult to follow and/or find logical rules as to where everything is found.
If I wanted Windows 10 at some point in the future, I'm sure I could pirate it just as easily as I do now. The reason why Microsoft decided to give pirates a legit Windows 10 update is because they can't detect the pirates. If they could, pirated Windows copies wouldn't get updates, which they do.
Having Windows 10 on my laptop sucks. Ever since Windows 8 (which my laptop came with), the user experience felt like a kindergarten. "Oh, nonono! Don't do that, it's not for you! Here, let me do it for you!". It felt like I was using those plastic scissors kids get so they can't cut themselves. Every blue screen (and there were many in Windows 8) and every installation, every update and every settings change, I felt like someone was holding my hand while pushing me away from MY laptop.
