Not safe.

about 0. On other hand, that will be sufficient enough for most people. At least stenograph them or something.

the thing is, who would even look there?

yeah that is what 'rename to .png' was about genious.
>>
Not as safe as .doc file saved as .png

how is .doc safer other than it needs M$ word to open? just that?
>>
>>54467997
if you open it in text editor, you won't find anything.
>>
>>54468030
would rich text work too or not
>>
>>54467969
you think there isn't a bot for looking for filenames that don't match their filetype, you're an idiot.

of course, that would only be used if someone actually competent got ahold of your hard drive.
still, it isn't futureproof.
>>

but it's different. like no sed or awk will open that and rich text editors are quite slow to open

stenography != steganography

Hide a .7z file filled with your passwords in them.

Maybe from your parents, but if you're talking law enforcement, no.

Forensic data analysts have programs that search through files and if the header of the file doesn't match the extension, it raises a flag.

I just use passwords.google.com. Never had a problem.

1. Buy an old game console
2. Buy a game or two where you can save your progress with various name entries, you know, like those pinball games where best 10-20 scores with manually input names are stored
3. Put your passwords as those names
4. Just keep it connected to your TV and a cartridge/cd stored inside a big box with loats of other cartridges/cds to not make it looking suspicious

Use a password manager, such as KeePass.

this is a neat idea, but i trust those shitty little integrated batteries even less than I trust pen&paper long-term.
