Windows Movie Maker 2.6.

Seriously. Best movie editor I've used for simple dumb stuff. Problem is it only supports ancient codecs.

install OS X in vmware/vbox and over there install Final Cut Pro or Final Cut Pro X, or even iMovie since it's just a limited version of FCPX since 2010 or so.

Sony Vegas Pro is very easy to use while packing alot of nice stuff. Literally millions of information like tips and guides all over the Internet too and also alot of custom scripts and whatnot made for it.
