They put your shit in a package, then it sits in a bin in their warehouse until they have enough to fill up a van.
Then it goes on the van to a road shipping hub for the city, where it sits in a bigger bin until there's enough to fill up a truck.
Then it goes to the airport, where it sits in a bin until there's enough to fill up all the space on a plane which hasn't been taken by packages whose recipients aren't jews and who actually paid for shipping.

Can someone help me out here to understand shipping times?

Does the "15-25 days" start as soon as it's shipped, or as soon as it's gets on an air flight?

- USB 3.0 Reader: 15-25 days, Shipped Apr 12th from warehouse, by air April 18th.

- Socks: 15-25 days, shipped Apr 11th, by air Apr 16th

- Pants: 15-32 days, shipped Apr 11th, most likely by air Apr 13th? No more info is given past that date...

Assuming the est. time is work days, it's been 21 week/working days since they've shipped from stores/warehouses.

I'm patient, but baffled, since in the past, China -> Canada hasn't taken this long for anything I ordered, tops 15 days.

Just chiming in here.

Does anyone have either the Finow x5 or No.1 D5 smart watch?

Seriously for under £100 its pretty impressive. If /g/ isn't aware of what it is, is a chink smart watch running a full Android OS (not WARE) which has been modded to suit a watch shape/interface. There are a few other older models like this too but they arn't as nice. These two have the same CPU and generally are cross compatible OS wise. Think the k18 and k8 mini, and Finow X1 also run on this CPU.

Compared to all the other chink watches this is a dream, as the other cheap ones all run their own badly designed, awful font, awful icons, crappy slow UI, propriety software.

Seriously look that this shit, it looks lovely. Only down side is as they run as independent devices, you can't make calls through your phone etc (but I think you can still push notifications etc.)

I'm aware of this device.. such good specs.
Isn't this the one with 1440p display, 4GB ram, and a x5 Atom?

The only thing that is holding these chink tablets back (apart from quality control) is the slow eMMC storage still used on them.. I mean 64GB is low but if it was faster it wouldn't be so bad.

Got a friend to buy one a few months back, Chuwi vi10, was OK, but not even 1080p. There were better choices to be honest but he didnt want to spend any more / wanted that size screen and design.

Agreed.

I really want one, but I can't really be dealing with customs issues.

The No.1 D5, which runs the same software, can be purchased from within the EU from GearBest.. But I don't really like the strap on the D5, and they're not replicable.

People have been saying these devices are even getting better battery life than Android Wear devices..

Put in order in for these cheap polarized aviators (come with certificate/test). Supposedly is a RayBan knockoff based on someones picture they post. Going with silver lens on silver frame. $20 with epacket shipping I figured why not try. Once received I will compare to a real pair of RayBans from someone at work and determine if they are also actually polarized.

Any good bicycle gadgets for an unfit depressed shut-in? I've got a bike in the garage that I haven't touched in about half a decade.

I'm thinking maybe a fitness tracker, wireless headphones? Are cameras that you mount on your bike a thing? Anything else?

Going to try cycling to get the juices flowing again and try and penetrate the normie-sphere.

Anyone have any experience with this piece of crap? It just came in the mail and I flashed the newest AGPtek firmware on it as instructed but all the songs are in the wrong order on albums and every time I power it off then back on it needs to reload the entire song list from the SD card.

Waste of money or does anyone have fixes?

It reads the tags correctly because it displays the track number before the song but it shows them in totally the wrong order.

This issue comes up in a bunch of bad amazon reviews and the company acknowledges it exists but says there's nothing they can do about it.

This should not be recommended on the wiki if it doesn't have one of the most basic music playing functions.

Starting with my favorite of the bunch.

The Inflictor is nice. Good build quality. Solid clicky blues. Keycaps aren't that bad either IMO. The preset colors and patterns are a bit limiting when compared to something like a Ducky Shine. I also detest the visible screws on the outside of the board. It's also hard to see the symbols of the key locks when the lights are on, but there's only four so it shouldn't take long to memorize. I do appreciate the labeling on the keys, but you will still need a manual for the combinations.
(English link here) https://archive.org/details/MOTOSPEED_K84_Community_Manuals

Overall, I'd say it's definitely a great buy, especially at $50. Definitely within the same tier as my Ducky Shine 4, although we'll see how they do long term.

Next up is the Xiaomi Bluetooth speakers.

I'll start off by saying I had higher expectations than I probably should've. As far as looks go, it's very nice. However, when it comes to performance, it's not nearly as slick. The bluetooth connectivity is fine, it just werks. But it does not come with anything but the speakers, so you'll need a microUSB cable if you want to charge it. It can't play and charge at the same time, either. You'll have to be a little forethoughtful if you plan to use this. As for the sound, it has clean highs and mids but is laughably pathetic with anything even slightly bassy. It reminds me of my grandmother's kitchen radio, and it is probably better suited towards a similar use than for actual speaker use. I would suggest it if you like to listen to podcasts or bass-light classical music, but if you want it as a daily driver speaker for your music needs, seek elsewhere.

And finally, we have this 2.4GHz wireless gaming mouse.

Firstly, it feels just as cheap as it was (~$2). The battery latch is impossibly hard to open (fucked up my nails, I ended up needing the grab a flathead to pry it open.) Out of the battery compartment popped the USB receiver. It took quite a while for the drivers to be found, but it eventually found them to my relief. However, I noticed the mouse was not powering on. It takes two AAA batteries, which I had but was unsure of whether or not they were charged, so I went to the store and got some brand-spanking new AAA batteries. The mouse still did not power on.

I took a look inside and noticed that one side did not have a contact for the battery. I'm not an expert on electricity but my best guess as to why it does not power on is because of the absence of this contact. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Either way, the cheapness of this mouse is evident from the second I saw the beatup box, followed by touching the mouse, so I would definitely not recommend it.

The event is probably going to talk about:
-Mi Max
-MIUI 8
-Mi Band 2

>Based on preliminary leaks, Xiaomi's Mi Max is expected to feature a massive 6.4-inch full-HD display; run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow; powered by hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor; 2GB of RAM; 16GB of storage; 16-megapixel rear, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

My pair of KZ-ATE's came in, they sound like COMPLETE ASS with the foam ear tips, if you like foam ones make sure you get a spare, these are just to long and put the drivers so far away from your ears that they sound tinny, with overblown mids.

With the silicone they turn into something else entirely and really deliver a nice non muddy punch.

I figure you fags know a thing or two about those shitty Android TV boxes. I found one at a Goodwill Outlet for dirt cheap. What can I do with it?

Pic related, the one I found. The brand is Keedox.

You can stream from KODI. that's still fun

It's got 2 USB ports on the other side.

It's slow as hell on Jelly Bean though. Any chance I could root it and go to a custom ROM?
