ITT: Still can't believe people fell for it
Core Duo T2500 here with PAE, there is NOTHING that a 64 bit cpu can do that can't be done in 32bit. Enjoy paying more
>>54465582
stupid rich people will buy anything, why do you think apple is so successful?
>>54465633
>not owning mario party
you must have no friends

How about using more than 64GB of RAM?
>>54465835
I need 32gb on my workstation, swap is not an option
>>54465946
my bad didn't see the pae
>>54465835
autist

Funny how it ended up being more underwhelming than the PS3 by the end of it's generation.
>>54465582
But they didn't.
Only a handful of perverts got one early on to film the men's showers.
>>54465582
Where I work we were about to use these things to scan our products and view the defect list on units as we manufactured them. However, I never saw it fully implemented so I think it failed.
>>54465582
they kinda didn't
google glass sold in like two units, and one got returned
>>54465582
This actually looks good, unlike all of those VR gadgets.
>>54466166
>>54465582
I'd get a pair if I had an Android phone
>>54466629
I like the case, I want to install OpenBSD on one

>>54465633
the wii is the perfect party console. everyone fucking loves pokemon or brawl.
>>54466684
> OpenBSD on NVIDIA hardware
good luck.
>>54466141
elaborate, i'm interested
>>54465582
The oculus specifically
>>54467189
My laptop's got a Nvidia GPU, that doesn't stop me from using OpenBSD. If the OS could boot and it just couldn't use the GPU I'd have no issues
>16GiB
>>54467163
Not to mention Mario Kart and Mario Party
>>54465882
That or he lost all of then because of mario party.
>>54467218
> Implying GPU hardware is the same as it is in a SoC.
>>54466731
How do you sell something at such a high price and yet make the UI complete ass.
Also my HTC 10 will do HiFi just as nicely as a Pono hopefully.
>>54467334
I never implied it was.
>>54465582
A revolutionary product never meant for the mainstream in development stage. Nothing wrong with buying it.
>>54465633
I am not a consolefag but tons of people had fun with it and the shit was cheaper than Xbone and PS3.
>>54465835
Fuck off, luddite scum.
>>54466101

Maxwell was based as fuck.

>How do you sell something at such a high price and yet make the UI complete ass.
Microsoft wants a word with you, right after you finished talking to Samsung.
>>54465582
it would have been a great implement for people who were homebound to help blind people who could walk around the community get navigation assistance
>>54465882
To be fair, the last good mario party was 4 and it was a gamecube title.
Every single iteration afterwards has been a soulless pile of shit.
People complain about new super mario bros. being a literal rehash, but at least the formula is fun.
mario party hasn't been fun in a long time, especially now that amiibos are required to play
>>54465582
just wait till they come out with apple shades, that shit'll sell like hotcakes
cam in the middle of the nosepiece, yellow gamerglasses like lenses, on to which stuff can be projected, motion tracking to control that shit with gesures, built in earbuds, and mic.
c'mon guise, what else could be packed into it, let's figure this shit out and beat apple to market with a product that will sell
>>54465582
It'll show up again in five years with actually useful features.
can't wait. seriously.
>>54467518
Better hardware is irrelevant if you can't match Apple at software side.
Besides, the technology required for that thing is still not there. Chips need to be more efficient and smaller, batteries more powerful, etc etc etc
>>54467163
nobody loves brawl and pokemon isn't a party game
>>54467558
The real issue is getting rid of the actual glasses and making single-ear mounts comfortable, I think. the bulk can be moved, these are getting fairly popular.
>>54467581
they need to come out with something like a naruto/dragonball game that has a rumble mode, where however many players you gots controllers for can battle at the same time, no teams or anything, just everyone wailing on each other, last man standing wins
>>54467581
brawl was the best party game. the comp scene being dead doesn't mean everything.
>>54466629
>>54465835
fuck off idiot. the limitations of 32bit are so incredibly vast it's difficult to explain them all. do you even know about string lengths? the main difference between the "bits" of computers is how many binary characters can fit into one block. for 32-bit it's... 32. For 64 it's double. 32 bit systems actually will not be able to function properly after 2038 because their system clocks will run out of digits. This is called a buffer overflow. 64 bit computers, on the other hand, have enough bits to last past the inevitable heat death of the universe. Not only clocks, but physics simulations, mathematical calculations, and data storage is WAAAY better than 32 bit could ever hope to be. git good.

It's not Tuesday yet, Anon.
