Linux noob here. In the YT vid, he browses the package manager and in the IRC clients, there was emptyness. Does this mean I have to manually download software I want to use or I can download it with the PiSi?

>budgie DE
do not want

Any other great looking Linux OS'es to try?
Whats the benefits new package manager, don't we already have too many of them?
>>54465255
There's Deepin
>>54465255
Xubuntu + plank dock gives me all I need. Maybe try Elementary if you want an OS focused on certain design principle?

Those are all good things though
Apt is shit and any DE that's based off of Ubuntu is inherently worse than Ubuntu. I'm only on Ubuntu now because it just werkz but I'd switch to Solus in a heartbeat.
Also, not that I'd be playing much games on my laptop as it is, how is steam on Solus? Heard mixed things

Elementary is trash. Should have just been an Ubuntu flavor
>>54465458

Deepin is nice.
