Do you use pic related?
>>
No, despite spending tons of hours at a computer everyday. I have no idea what I'm doing right but I almost never get hand or wrist pain. (The only exception has been when I started using software that had me right-button dragging a lot and I wasn't used to it.)
>>
No but I think I need one. I'm also afraid people will think I use one because I masturbate too much.

For what purpose?

Sadly, it's in the mail.

It should prevent/help with carpal tunnel and such.

I had some wrist problems a few years ago. Even talked to a doctor about it. I'm on a computer most of the day. I used this type of product and it was ok, but I got more relief from warm rice bags and doing wrist stretching video exercises on Youtube (not porn).

Turns out, I needed a better mousepad. Not this $1 chink mousepad shit, like a mouse with actual wrist rest support. Haven't had any issues since.

actually, yes. Have on/off index finger pain in my right (dominant) hand, so much that I actually left click with the middle finger now, and right click with the ring finger. I also play guitar so its a real bitch.

I can get the pain to leave if I go light on the electronics and any sort of work for about 3 days straight, but when do I get the opportunity to just sit around for 3 days straight?

I used to have excruciating finger pain, with moderate wrist/forearm pain, but two weeks straight of the splint and anti-inflammatory pills fixed it for a while. I started replaying jagged alliance 2 (the game is totally played by mouse besides a few hotkeys, even then all controls can be done via mouse) after that and then index finger pain came back.

are you just wearing them hoping they'll help or they are actually useful? I know they won't completely fix the problem itself
>>
>>54464434
They are useful, but you actually have to use it, night and day, and actually refrain from doing much with the affected hand. I know it might seem impossible, but it did work for me. My pain came back because I was spending about 8 hours a day playing jagged alliance, however it comes and goes now, compared to the constant pain I used to have.

It will work, you just gotta be willing to actually do what the recommended treatment is - jackshit. Get some movies and food, and prepare to jack off with your other hand

forgot to write, if it comes to the point where its terrible, it seems like carpal tunnel surgical relief is down to a fine science now.

Yeah it's not that bad, luckily. It used to be - kind of - back when I played osu!. Had to stop because of that.
I also started to do stretching and that helped, a lot actually. I will give these gloves a try though.
>>
>>54464573
>osu!

I guess we're both fools then, I imagine rhythm games are just as bad on the nerve. Good look anon, buy the glove/splint and then some aleve or other anti-inflammatory.
>>
Do you guys just have fragile ass wrists?

>been doing this for nearly twenty five years.
>still no pain at all
>>
>>54464207

if you're using that device, make sure you're doing gentle lengthening stretches to the wrist flexor and extensor muscles, and the finger flexor and extensor muscles, some which are long, and travel from the fingers to the elbow

I used to do these everyday for months, not kidding. I stopped once the pain got away, but I'll probably start again.
