What's in your wallet, /g/? Anyone into credit card churning? I'm just getting started, just got approved for a Chase Sapphire Preferred. Going to add the CFU, and maybe the Chase Southwest or United cards.

Churning seems like a ridiculous amount of work for the level of benefit. Lemme guess, you clip every coupon you see in life and you don't tip, right? I would hate to live as a slave to savings.

AmEx SERVE for ISIS wallet. I can post a pic if anyone's interested. Every dollar I spend via NFC up to 20 dollars gave a dollar back, and once a month I got 20 back on a 20 dollar or more purchase.

Op here, I spend about $3.5k/mo and previously not getting any sort of rewards. Now I'll be able to get some free flights and hotels for doing nothing.

It's when you start getting into manufactured spending that it becomes a lot of work.

I just started "churning", but I'm only buying what I would normally buy.

Currently working on a chase sapphire preferred, spending $4k in 3 months gets me $500. It's a bit more than I normally spend but luckily I had my car insurance bill due and a few other things.

After that I'm going to work on a few more. No way am I doing manufactured spending or any thing, fuck that shit.

Capital One's Quicksilver gives 1.5% back, with no limit.

I used to go after points/miles depending on what card was best, but now the 1.5% is close enough that it's my default card. I also have a Discover card that gives 5% back on certain types of purchases (online, gas, food, etc) at different times of the year, and I will use that one during the corresponding time of the year. That basically has me covered.

(I have 2 or 3 other cards too, but rarely use them).
