Isn't it easier just to do a system image? The system image has every file on your computer.

Never done a windows backup. what exactly does it do? back sup files or like the complete ISO and settings etc?I normally fele better with frehs install and all exe's etc from cloud

Not him, but on that link it clearly says why doing both is a good idea:

Sorry, i thought he meant another thing. Yes, you can't restore single files. You've have to restore everything.
