Macfags of /g/ I need your opinions

I will switch to mac soon and need to run virtual machines (windows). I have used parallels in the past but it was 3 years ago.
I really like parallels because of its unity feature but would parallels performance compare to vmware? Like GPU acceleration, proper use of ram and cpu etc.

There's no point in bootcamp now that VMware has decent GPU acceleration.
