I guess this is a weird thing to ask in 2016, but I need help with my Zune HD.

It's a 32 GB device. I've only used 7 GB of space on it, but when I connect it to my computer, it tells me it has 0 GB of free space, so it won't let me add any new files. I thought I could just reinstall the firmware and hope for the best. Trouble is, when I tried that, the download of the newest firmware couldn't even start since Microsoft no longer provides any official support for Zune stuff.

What should I do?

There is a way to nuke all the content, but it's a hard reset still, so you'd have to reinstall the firmware anyway.
I found a tutorial and a download link to the latest firmware. I'll try to work with it.

I think you'll find it's a 16Gig.
The OS etc takes up 7Gig on its own.
