my core2quad Q9400 motherboard died.
I sold the 8GB (4x2GB) sticks on ebay for 120.00 and bought a complete G3258 based system to replace it last month.
I have many parts laying around so when something gets too outdated i replace it. Currently using a 4th gen i3 and have an i5 and i7 laying around for future upgrades. I like to buy what will last.

Job. I have savings and it goes towards things I will need in the futures. Investing in a line of parts like that is pretty good. And I got most of them on sale.
