Hey OP I think I can help here. The main problem seems to be that you are using Linux. This is an operating system (OS) that is used for special-purpose computers, such as web servers and phones. It's incredibly powerful and versatile, but it isn't suitable for everyday desktop and laptop computers.
You need to backup your files and install a suitable OS, such as Windows or OS X. Dolphin Emulator is available for both of those, and it works very well.
