For the amount of hate Firefox gets and Chrome gets recommended in Firefox threads, it sure gets used a lot.

You could try restarting with add-ons disabled (in menu -> help icon) and see if an add-on is the issue.
Or you could check if refreshing your profile helps. Execute "firefox -p" and create a new profile. If it does and you don't want to start over, click the menu -> help icon -> troubleshoot -> there is a button for it

Well, I switched to it after Opera 12 support ended. I tried Chromium as well and I just can't cope with it. Video playback in Chrome is choppy with CPU usage peaking at 25%, certain pages also have choppy scroll (for instance scrolling the Settings popup here on 4chan is choppy for me in Chromium). Firefox is less responsive than Opera v12 was, but way better than Chromium, at least on my PC.

Anyone here used GNU icecat?
android: opera for LTE data compression. samsung internet for logged into google/youtube.
linux: chrome-stable for logged into netflix/google music. firefox for everything else.
windows: internet explorer for logged into nhl.com live. I don't use windows for anything else lately.

It doesn't make much sense to add each and every browser that is probably used by no more than 1 or 2 users on /g/. Especially if it is practically just a different browser rebranded.
I've been using Firefox, but I can't pin my video issue to a specific reason. They'll just keep buffering until restarting the browser. Using Chrome until i find the issue
