All Avotons support up to 8 lanes of PCIe 3.0, which is more than enough for 4-port SFF-8087 RAID or controller card, which you can split into a total of 16 SATA 3.0 ports. Just go on eBay and find some used LSI SFF-8087 or mini-SAS HD PCIe 8x card. Just make sure that the bandwidth on the SAS port is at least 6 Gbps.

No, it can't. It gets beat out my Pentiums in single threaded performance and i3-6100 in multi-threaded performance.
Buy a Pentium or i3-6100, or a used Haslel/Ivy Bridge/Sandy Vagina processor.

There are two cores per module, and each module has one FPU. By your logic a Intel CPU that lacks x87 has zero cores.

>We literally gave you the engineering definition
That still isn't a true core, ya dingus. A single Bulldozer "core" cannot function by itself as a distinct core. If you understood how Bulldozer actually works, you'd know that there is not way to isolate a singular "core", only a module (which is the actual core).

See, this is what I said. You cant compare Bulldozer to a traditional core architecture.

Did you even read my post anon? Or are you so desperate to seem intelligent?

And even then, but the most basic definition of a core provided by Wikipedia, they are Cores. As a core need only process instructions to be considered independent.

I'm guessing you have no idea what you're talking about then because you say this
>As a core need only process instructions to be considered independent.
and yet you say that the FX-6300 has 6 cores when three of those cores can handle independent processes with the other three acting as supplementary processing for those three cores. If you had an FX CPU, you'd know that you'd rarely see cores 2,4, and 6 being utilized independently without corresponding cores 1, 3, and 5 being active first.
ALL SIX "CORES" CAN NOT HANDLE SIX INDEPENDENT PROCESSES, AS HAS BEEN PROVEN MULTIPLE TIMES SINCE ZAMBEZI WAS LAUNCEHD.

You honestly believe that. The shilling is deep with this one.
>>
>>54393369
>you'd rarely see cores 2,4, and 6 being utilized independently without corresponding cores 1, 3, and 5 being active first.
Because core 2 shares a module with 1, 4 with 3, and 6 with 5. The CPU uses one core per module and goes for the second module cores when the first three are in use.

We had threads for days where different anons would do shit like put it on toast or make muffins with it and give it to coworkers.

Good times.

Legit wouldn't, I have a 5820K & 32GB of DDR4-2400 which probably BTFOs all but the $3000+ configurations of that piece of shit anyway.

I'd use the displays and arms tho.
>>
>>54396253
There isn't a single config your 5820K wouldn't BTFO, it hasn't been updated since Sandy Bridge
>>
>>54391263
the 5820K is only $380
>>
>>54396304
I could get them used for 300 €, possibly less. There are a lot of retards upgrading to Broadwell-E from their 5820K.
>>
>>54391477
checked + came here to post this
>>
>>54396287
I thought you could get them in dual xeons, but now that I'm looking lol, they only come in single CPU configs now, that's pretty great.

That said you can still get them in 12 core versions, which all in all is probably more powerful, but only DDR3 and it costs literally 8x what I spent on this. Even the spec which is close to mine (6 core 20MB L3, 32GB) is $4400 which is absolutely hilarious.
Though to be fair I don't have dual Fire-Pro GPUs.
>>
>>54396538

It's not like other workstations like HP Z are any cheaper.
>>
>>54391510
In 2009, the average cost per dose of Doxil was US$5594 compared with $62–162 for doxorubicin, and the average cost per dose for Abraxane was $5054 compared with $90–454 for paclitaxel.

Might go with a 5X. I've had an iPhone 6 plus since December of 2014. Everything was fine and dandy until iOS 8.3ish when iOS security got so tight that jailbreaks were taking forever to get released. I enjoyed the stability, speed, and security. However, I enjoy ricing over everything. I'm moving to Android now that's it's grown up a bit. Nexus devices get frequent OTA updates and have a decent fingerprint scanner/FDE. I'll never have another Samsung device. They're total shit. I've always used iPhones as my primary phone but I've bought Android phones and tablets to fuck around with. I'm not sure which Android phone to get. Nexus 6P would be perfect if it didn't use that shitty USB type C that seems to be frying everything you plug it into. The lack of cheap cases, chargers, and adapters is going to suck ass. Help me out /g/

That would be 1:10 instead of 1:30 for a Bluray movie. I'll invest in a custom loop first. My system looks like shit with 2 AIOs, I can't even mount the second one because of no space. Broadwell-E already features an octacore on the X930 (middle) position, I think whatever lake comes on the 7820K will have 8 cores + 20 % more IPC. I'm going to retire my i7 then and build a small office /portable ITX build with it.
