What the fuck are you guys doing, switch to Chrome. Embrace the botnet.

Try spelling youtube-dl correctly and it'll work better.

Why are you still using Disconnect in 2016?
Firefox has it built-in and uBlock Origin takes care of tracking anyway.privacy.trackingprotection.enabled
privacy.trackingprotection.pbmode.enabled
All I have is ublock origin, stylish, and pentadactyl.
>>54390023
>>54390065
You both seem like extension minimalists.
Why don't you toss out Stylish and just use userChrome.css / userContent.css instead?
>>54388625
> 2016
> not using umatrix
It will replace ublock, https anywhere, better privacy, cookie monster, etc. Just like systemd.
>>54390159
it's convenient because i can easily uninstall installed userstyles, and they can be updates by themselves

Is the description in turkish?

>>54390160

No, it won't. uMatrix can't into cosmetic filtering like uBlock Origin can.
uBlock Origin can replace uMatrix though, depending on how granular of control you need.
>>54390186
>Is the description in turkish?
It's made in English but has many localizations.
Anon is probably using Turkish Firefox and/or OS.

what the actual fuck?
no ghostery?
uBlock Origin
HTTPS Everywhere
Private Tab (love this one)
Open With (prefer it over Watch with MPV because of the context menu integration)
and ExHentai Easy Login because I'm lazy.
>>54390964
You shouldn't be using Ghostery.
It's owned by an advertisements company and uBlock Origin does its job better anyway.
>no one using noscript
what
>>54388625
I'm just using uBlock Origin. Instead of a screenshot of just one add-on, I thought it would be better to share some custom filters I use:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't decide whether to execute javascript or not with uBlock Origin, fucktard.
I'm too lazy to boot into windows to show that one.

For the uninformed, Shift + F2 and typing screenshot will take a screenshot without using any addons. It can also take full screen screenshots.

Yes, but you need to visit the site first, a lot of sites ignore it, and the setting gets reset often enough that it's annoying. I could just change the user agent on about:config too, but having a menu item is much easier for when I do want to use the mobile version.

Does uMatrix support script surrogates yet? Last time I checked (now), it didn't.

If you use it as >>54393018 described you might as well just stick with the extension.
ffmpeg.exe needs to be in the same directory.
Does ublock origin and umatrix completely replace noscript and requestpolicy?

I see a lot of people using Desentraleyes. What does it do? I don't understand the description.
So many Privacy Badger users, how is this different from Disconnect?
>>54394183
See
http://www.ghacks.net/2015/11/23/decentraleyes-for-firefox-loads-cdn-resources-locally/
>>54394185
By not being a botnet ran by sjws and blm activists. At any rate, uBlockOrigin renders both of them useless.
>>54394183
It keeps a local store of many popular resources frequently served from a CDN, and intercepts requests to CDNs for those resources and replaces them with requests for the local resources.
Faster and prevents CDNs from gathering information on what sites you visit

$ ffprobe 'Fifth Harmony - Worth It ft. Kid Ink-YBHQbu5rbdQ.mkv'
...
Stream #0:0: Video: h264 (High), yuv420p(tv, bt709), 1920x1080...
...
>>54395724
I tried again, if in the folder there's only youtube-dl and nothing else, I get a 720p MP4. If there's also ffmpeg, ffprobe and ffplay (all, maybe would work with only ffmpeg as well) I get a 1080p MKV.
Ah well, I'd still recommend this >>54393308 as you can get 1080p in MP4 format
If anyone has a solution to why VimFx says null and why I cannot upgrade it (other way than copying xpi-file), I would like to know it.

Jailbreak the Patriarchy
Weed to anime
Zero Minutes of Fame

>>54388625
if you don't go trough a vpn on top of that it's all pointless, If you don't plan to ever link your real identity to any account or never pay with your credit card then you don't need a vpn.
And adblock + https everywhere is enough in that case.
>>54390160
>>54394101
>>54397756
What do they do
>>54397878
Jailbreak the Patriarchy switches he to she, fireman to firewoman, lady to dude, guy to gal, etc
Weed to anime replaces the word weed with the word anime
Zero Minutes of Fame removes killers' names from text and replaces it with <Name redacted> or something similar so as to not give these guys any recognition.
>>54397912
The first two seem completely pointless and the third is purw ignorance. Btw fireman doesnt mean man as in male, it means man as in human.
>>54397932
