What program do YOU use to encrypt, /g/? What do you encrypt?
TrueCrypt master race
Bitlocker
I use noParanoia.exe
VeraCrypt. Any massive problems I should be aware of? (not that I encrypt anything other than porn. good to be extra secure, yes?)
Remember if you use Windows, encryption is false security.

Yes, the rape in prison.

>be American
>Land of the free they say
>get suspected of a crime
>goes to jail before trail
>encrypt all my drives with no illegal content. Maybe some downloaded movies :^)
>they haven't found anything on me yet
>they suspect that illegal content is on my computer
>they require me to unlock
>I have the right to decline
>gets thrown into prison for 15 years

Meanwhile in europe
>say something mean on the internet
>thrown directly into jail
Meanwhile in anywhere else
>scavenge for food all day
>no time to do anything illegal
7z with AES
I just encrypted and compressed some important family documents by doing this:
1. 1st run "sha512 file.pdf > encrypted_file.sha"
2. 2nd run "shred file.pdf"
to decrypt it do this:
1. first run "cat encrypted_file.sha > file.pdf"
2. then run "evince file.pdf"

that's assuming you're buying into the free speech meme. And if you're on /g/ you must have been living under a rock. Regardless. Come on matey. We have it far better in the anglosphere (and co) than Russia/China/shitlands.. Where they'll just straight up break your fingers and throw you into some Siberian prison camp for the equivalent sentence regardless lolz.
You into your """anime""" then, my pedo friend?

BitLocker for FDE because nothing else for Windows supports UEFI and TPM.
I then use BoxCryptor for seamless file encryption for sensitive documents before I back them up to OneDrive - works with any cloud provider though. Makes it actually secure to use more mainstream storage options other than just services like SpiderOak.

god that's depressing, I hope for a better future
luks and truecrypt
test.. my post got fucking deleted.

Encrypt in what scenario? For files in general for only me I tend to go with encfs for file level (good for syncing), veracrypt for high security, and tar + gpg for quickly moving sensitive data across an untrusted medium (since everything has gpg preinstalled)

(Posted too soon) and of course dm-crypt for whole device encryption, or sometimes in place of veracrypt for containers
I have 50 64GB USBs and i compressed all my important files separately so that if 1 file is missing, no one can extract the zip file. Also, it is password protected. The password has of 15 length and it includes 10 different language letters like ö ü ä الأَبْجَدِيَّة العَرَبِيَّة фaмилия 藍 ㅗㅓㅏㅣ
Veracrypt for files, secure volumes etc... dm-crypt / LUKS for whole drive/system encryption etc...
OpenPGP / GnuPG when useful.
