Hello /g/
So I got this text today that's obviously a scam
Did I fugg up by texting back? For the record, I don't have a Bank of America account
Some of the text is blacked out because it contains my phone number.
they mass-text entire ranges in hopes of catching one person dumb enough to give up their information. They're not going to do anything if you stop responding though. post STOP to terminate this thread.
Block the number and move on with your life.

Shit's freaky. My dad and uncle have gotten text messages with either account number or some other correct identification asking them to go to a website to verify information. Luckily they called the number on the back of the debit card to confirm but I'm sure quite of few people have fallen for this
An unrelated scam, hilarious

it's generally a good idea to ignore such messages, but they might get a lot of people texting back so I wouldn't worry too much.
