when will battery calculations actually be accurate?
Never.

They can't ever be accurate because of varying amounts of load uses uneven amount of power over time.
When you purchase a battery that isn't fucked, and not one of those cheap no-brand ebay replacements.
Always worked fine for me other than on dying battery packs.

They are accurate. The problem is the power consumption constantly varies. When you start a new program, power consumption will spike compared to idle.

at least a ballpark. ive been shitposting for the last hour you think it would have stabilized
How long have you been using it?
Fresh batteries or a fresh OS install are wonky as hell with their predictions and it usually takes a couple of days for them to get settled in.

a few months. but it's a 9 cell thinkpad battery and not capable of 10-15 hours

>dont let microsoft track your usage patterns because muh botnet

>microsoft needs your data beamed to their servers to give you local data

Just run some prime solving programs in the background, keep your PC at 100% load at all times, and it will become more accurate.

Cloud computing™
Because if you wanted minute accurate calculations it would use too much battery, kinda gets messy with heuristics when there's about 500 threads running around, turning off and spiking every second.
