Suspend when lid closed still doesn't work on my laptop
>>54379695
Update: it actually broke suspend overall
>>54379728
Suspend works fine with my X1 Carbon.
Apart from the fact that the mouse cursor disappears after logging in from suspend, forcing me to reboot.
OP here. I have always had issues with suspend on laptops too. But I havent tried it on my T420 yet since I never use it suspend.

Try pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 and then Ctrl+Alt+F7

"When returning from lock, the cursor disappears on the desktop, you can bring the cursor back with Ctrl+Alt+F1 followed by Ctrl+Alt+F7" from http://xubuntu.org/news/xubuntu-16-04-release/

Works fine on Debian testing with XFCE.
>>54380030
Still won't work. Screen stays blank, with the backlight on, when I try to resume.
This is an HP dv6000 with the GeForce 7150m

I don't get it. Don't laugh at me, but how come my laptop still can suspend even though I uninstalled pm-utils?
Is lightdm responsible for that?
