ah cmon, core problems was that the desktop threads were pretty much mostly runed by tripfags reposting their desktops for x times and using the thread as a private random discussion board, which somehow have got huge quantities of weeabooishness in them altogether with their riced desktops overencumbered with chinese cartoon pictures

Okay, here are some ideas for talking to the mods.
Reasons to allow desktop threads to live on /g/:
-It would cut down on anti mod spam if they stopped the apparent personal attacks in the form of bans on desktop thread posters (incase it's argued that the bans aren't personal I will point out that other threads on /g/ have posting much worse that goes untouched by moderation, I have to find some examples though)
-Outraged desktop posters will likely not leave /g/. They will take their frustration with percieved abuse of authority out on the /g/ board as a whole, worsening the state of an already lower quality board. (again need examples of the low quality of the board)
Suggestions please, anyone? I also need rebuttals for possible reasons not to allow desktop threads.
