I don't drop my phone, though. And I hate huge cases. Also, a thick case bezel can interfere with Android's "swipe-in" menu if your app also has tabs/panes that you can swipe between. Who knows why this is so sensitive.
I just want to be able to set the phone down on my desk without scratching the metal ring around the lens. Which is a critical fucking flaw.

My mum uses an otter case for her iPhone.
She's broken 4 of them.
I use shitty £1 gel cases. Drop my phone all the time, it's probably fallen out of my pocket while I've been cycling at least 15 times and doesn't have a scratch. Gel cases are brilliant.
