Just installed Winblows 7 on my new KingDian 480 SSD(holy shit that was fast).

Did 2 test, both look pretty good until you look at the advertised 4K speeds, that are twice of what I'm getting, still a pretty good performance for such low price ($113 is the current price)

But I'm not an expert, so could the 4K speeds be lower than advertised due my $55 MOBO? I mean shit has only one SATA 3, did KingDian chinked us with a new batch of not so amazing SSDs? I mean shit is pretty amazing for the price, but not on par with their too good to be true advertisement.

So this just arrived.

ORICO QSE-5U 5 Ports QC2.0 5V2.4A 9V2A 12V1.5A Desktop USB Quick Charger with EU Plug - Black
http://s.aliexpress.com/zq6NVbAR
(from AliExpress Android)

By the way the time I purchased it, it was 1€ cheaper than the cheapest 5 port hub on amazon.
Anyway it took around 10 days to arrive at my doorstep in Germany.
It's build quality feels really nice, a bit heavy just as I expected and soft to the touch.

I already pinned it under my window ledge, so I can finally charge my phone, tablett and other stuff at the same time. Without the hassle of plugging so many fucking chargers behind my bed.

I didn't measure any of the ports, but the quick charge port seem to work as described. My note 4 went from 0% to around 60% in half an hour and
it produces nearly no heat. Even with my tablet, phone and gf phone plugged in.

I just have to wait a few days and see if it catches fire near my head.

But you know what? It's absolute dogshit having one of these in your room. Wanna know why? It takes ages to cool down, so it has to run 24/7, but it's way too loud to have it around 24/7.

It's maybe great for having it in the garden or somewhere, but for anything else it's mostly bullshit. But I'm considering integrating it into a liquid cooling system for my currently underclocked 2500k.

Yeah, but my current asus laptop draws 2-8 watts from the power socket when fully charged (9 watts maxed with furmark and intelburntest, it's an intel atom w/ 2W tdp), so a Note II charger (10 watts from already 4 or 5 years ago) could already work!
But it's in no way compatible, so there's that.

MIUI has some nice features, definitely usable, but can't compare to AOSP or cyanogenmod. There are stable AOSP roms for the RN3P so you can install that if you want to. Which chink fitness band/ smart watch is best?

eh, I think I'll stay away from custom roms so long as xiaomi's don't give me too much trouble. I'm pretty new to the whole smartphone thing, so I'm not going to fiddle with it too much at the beginning.
>>

I've heard good things about them, especily the e9 ( I think it's called).

What are the objectively best that you've tried so far? Like for build quality, and overall most neutral.

Also, if you know/ listen to rock, what are the best headphones for rock music?
>>
>>54359132
Yeah, they'd be the easiest for not doing anything since if I remegbercorrectly you only have to do like 5 steps to install the global rom (which includes other languages and google play store)

Very seriously considering getting a Vernee Thor and a 64GB shark as a replacement for my current, shitty iPhone 5S, will I need to root it or does it run stock android? Has anyone bought it so far? Am I better off going for the next model up?

I like the fact that it has a 5" screen over the 5.5" ones because I like having my phone be able to fit into my pocket (hence one of the reasons I've been using a 5S up until now).

Can't find any reviews on YouTube for it so I'm a little dubious as to how good it is.

It's a shame laptop producers still use 2,5" form factor. A lot of space could be saved by using 1,8" uSATA drives, also 3,3V instead of 5V is better when in comes to battery life.

Well, when I had my LG G2 2gb was more than enough(on both the LG stock rom and on cyanogenmod). But now I have the same amount of ram on my RN3P, and multitasking is much worse(because of MIUI). It's much slower and you often need to reload apps. Luckily you're able to lock some apps into memory, but that doesn't completely solve the problem.

You can see how the 3gb is usually better, but by a very small margin. If you have the money the 3gb isn't going to hurt but the price increase for will not give you an incredible extra boost. 2gb is quite capable.

Yes. They are pretty much guaranteed to work from the moment you open the package. It's slightly less durable than SanDisk or Samsung, but still durable enough for handling. According to /csg/, there is a small chance that you get a card whose speeds will decrease from the time you first use it. I've tested mine after 2 weeks and the speeds have gone down by 1-2MB in read and 2-4MB in write, but that was averaged and could easily be wrong/ignored.

Think about it on your own, but the prices will rise on gearbest soon.

Just got my BM-800

Tested it with a Somake 7.1 and a Somake 7.1 looking USB Audio Card, the Somake is amazing.

Pulled out my old and trusty SF-920 and at this point I don't know if the BM-800 is better or not, both sound pretty good when plugged to the Somake 7.1, but the BM-800 picks more noise since you can't control the gain physically, while the SF-920 has a potentiometer so recording shit with less noise is easier.

The SF.920 looks cheap when compared to the BM-800 that looks like it should be woth at least $60+ on a western shop.

Also how the fuck and they ship that HUGE as fuck box of the BM-800 and still make a profit when I just paid $15 for it? the box is the same size than a shoes box
