Will VR be the next big thing?

No, VR is another flop like wearable tech. I am curious what they're going to try after VR is confirm for flop, though. Maybe AR? I know Microsoft is sorta trying. It seems like smartphone stuff has hit its peak, nothing is new in the desktop world, and nothinxxxg else (wearables, VR) is necessary/has gained enough popularity.
I don't think that the mobile market has it is *end* though, obviously. It seems like innovation has slowed down tremendously, but the market is still very alive with new apps coming out and succeeding very often.
As stupid as it seems, I think muh webapps are actually the big thing right now.
I feel ya op
Self-driving cars would be nice. Car enthusiasts will probably bitch though.

VR will survive because of porn.

Environment mapping is kind of neat.
