120 GB SSD

120GB HDD
>>54351566
depends on what you currently have and what you were planning to use it for

if you have to ask that question, you need to keep saving your allowance

both and a raspberry pi to connect the 1TB to for a NAS fileserver
1 TB SSD
120 GB HDD

I just wanted another HDD to make a backup but I'm also really curious about the benefits of an SSD, even if it's small as fuck.
aim for 240GB if you get an SSD. 120 can fill up if you're not paying attention. 240 you'd have to be intentionally doing stupid shit to fill

1TB and 256GB SSD.
>>54351660
you stick it in your laptop so you don't need to use sleep mode anymore because lol10secondboottimes.
size doesn't matter because your music and video is hosted on your home network.
depending on your music player it doesn't work perfectly, but that's whatever.

This.
I've been using a 250GB SSD since my 2TB drive died. Works fine, has room for all the games I'm currently playing.
I do have a separate PC for my media though.

It's a few orders of magnitude faster
we do not know your situatiion. OP. Is it for storage? If so get the 1 TB. Is it for software et. get the fucking SSD. no go to sleep

120 GB HDD
>>54351566
I would say get a larger ssd if you go that route. Get at least 240 GB. It's currently a better value than the 120gb drives.
I guess I'll get the 240GB SSD.
Are SanDisk shit? What's a good brand?
I got a 500gb ssd, regret not buying the 1tb it filled up so fast.

Sandisk is a good brand-budget one too.
