Has anyone gone back to using jewgle for search?
Startpage is a pretty cool guy but it's missing a lot of useful features, like being able to apply filters to image searches.

Just don't use it to search anything illegal.
Also, Google tracks you all over the web using Google ads. If you're not using SSL everywhere, ghostery, no script, a VPN, etc. and have a good security discipline your choice of a search engine isn't going to make much of a difference for you.

I don't use it. It just came to mind. I use PIA VPN and don't live in a police state so I really don't give a fuck. Also, I'm not a pedo and I'm not worried about police knocking on my door for downloading music illegally.

There's zero reason not to use it when you block their cookies, use uBlock Origin and uMatrix all over the web, randomise your user agent and use a VPN on top of that. They can't track shit.

I use DDG for bangs, but for general content search I always use !g. Except when jewgle decides to blacklist me randomly, whenever that happens I revert to using DDG's built-in search.
