I've fucked a few keyboards and mousepad by accidental spillage, but never anything as expensive as a laptop.
Though the left shift key and entire numpad of the keyboard I'm using right now is pretty fucked from me spilling coffee over it on accident. Should probably replace my keyboard sometime.

i drink coffe with a straw and i keep the mug on top of a pile of books so the straw is always in my mouth. once i spilled the whole thing on my mechanical keyboard.
i put it in the shower for a few minutes and then dried it of, now works like a charm.

when i was a kind i spilled jolt cola on my keyboard on a LAN PARTY WOWOW and i didn't clean it up and used the same keyboard for maybe five years after that too.

Managed to flip a large beer-glass full of water right into the top fan of my Antec about 5 years ago. The LEDs and fans were going on and off until I yanked out the power. Everything was soaked as fuck, but after a week of drying, it was fine. Still using it right now.

I started drinking coffee when I was 4 because I had to be up at 4:30 everyday since my grandma picked me up from my house at 5:00 and I slept like shit and still do.
I am 20 almost 21 now and I drink 3 cups of black ALDI brand coffee from pic related every day.
