So i work at techsupport and just had to tell a customer that his no video problem during boot is not a problem with the monitor but its working as designed. How normal is it for modern monitors to not support video during startup?
It's not common or normal.
Your company just has no integrity.
It's like how apple refuses to acknowledge that malware has ever existed on macOS and all apple reps are trained NOT to use the word "virus" and to always shift blame to the user.

Thats my impression as well. I tried telling them otherwise but they dont listen. Then i have to listen to a customer getting angry for 10 minutes. How is this shit legal?

no its not, how is it apples fault if you cant handle your shit?
you wouldnt crash a car and then try to get the dealership to fix your mess, would you?
I dont even like apple and I can see this..

That would be a valid point if it wasn't AppleCare, their WARRANTY AND SUPPORT package that costs extra, we were talking about.
>>54338937
oh shit, ok I didnt know what that was.
Thanks for pointing that out.

Applecare is an add-on warranty they push all the time, I think its 100 dollars a year or some shit. So, yes, if you paid $100 extra they better clean the fucking computer

Malware doesn't exist on OS X, never has and never will.
