How does one go about making a webm? I kind of want to make one of me vigorously inserting that exact model card into a Thinkpad that I have sitting in my closet.
>>
I still have a laptop that is very usable that has a pci slot in it. running mint 13 on it, but it has built in wifi, so no real need to do that, except to connect to a printer and wifi router at the same time.

Is it at all possible, even theoretically, to get a graphics card or some sort of secondary processing unit for a pci card? i dont care how impractical, or how little of a performance boost, I just want to know if it is possible. Even if it is a really slow GPU, I would still be game for it...

Other than networking, what could use use a pci card for?

Here in Europe, 2010 was still year of nearly 20% WEP Wifi networks. Shit was cash
>>
>>54335998
BTW in 2004 found out that my Wifi PCMCIA had antenna connector hidden beneath the plastic. So I drilled a hole in it to connect cantennas..

>>
>>54332138
had a pair of these cards, one for each laptop
worked fine, right up to the point where one snapped and broke (IIRC, it was left in the bag and dropped or some shit? like, it's probably almost been a decade since I've had the cards)
>>
The Sportster PCMCIA card got so hot it burned skin. The dongle seemed so fragile but never broke. That heat though.

Heh. In reality though, everybody was calling them PCMCIA, even after it was all 32bit.
