The average intelligence has dropped dramatically since you came OP.

Good thread.
I generally do not use internet in my phone and it's a Cyanogenmod install.
I only use my phone for texting and calling people.
I carry a tablet for sending and reading email's in WiFi connections.
I also do not store any sensitive data and my contacts and texts are saved in the SD card.
I hear Whatsapp is rolling out encrypted texts. If the voice calls are eventually encrypted I might start using them if they don't have any shitty registration fee.
I hope KDE phone or Ubuntu phone becomes popular. For this they have to figure out how to implement a fully functional apk compatibility environment in GNU/Linux

Well you can use Android without Google shit.

>Imblying I have gapps installed.
Just like the idiots who went to protest against Google at Kevin Rose's house in San Francisco and were recording it on Android phones.

I don't have a smart phone period. Dumbphone and laptop (linux OS). Also a fully BC PS3, and a WiiU for gaming. Also have a Black VPN router (who are based in Hong Kong to ensure privacy). Email is similar; with a mix of 5 Tutanota accounts, and 2 Protonmail accounts.
So yeah, the government can get their hands on my texts and call history by going to Verizon. That's where it begins and ends.

>what is AOSP
I have no problem with freedums. I have a problem with prediction bloat and ad elevation manipulation making all search results absolute garbage.
I like Google they've given me a lot of useful content so I can't complain.
I just dispose chrome after a month of use.

But /g/ doesn't if the homescreen threads are of any indication. /g/ pussies out on their freetard stance on anything that isn't the browser.

It's 2016 guys, the pendulum has swung back. It's time for fascism to return. Democracy has failed.
