You can get proprietary software from standard gentoo repos, thus in Stallman's eye it's bad
It's not even that it has nonfree software installed by default, it's that it *potentially* allows you to install non-free software easily.
Because Stallman is *that* autistic, his solution to sometimes proprietary solutions being more powerful software than free alternatives, it's to simply to enforce the pretense those proprietary solutions don't exist and you can't install them.
