Help me /g/
Im a sophomore in dietetics but ive come to realize nutrition is worthless, super hifg unemployment rate and underpaid unless i make my own job.
Im thinking of switching to comp sci, as it seems like life would be ez mode after getting the degree
Should i do it? Im not sure if i like what im going to learn because i have no idea besides knowing ill have to take algebra, calc and lots of coding courses.
>/g/ is NOT your personal tech support team or personal consumer review site.

You should keep doing what you're doing, and just take an intro programming class one quarter. If you like it, pursue it.
Having a CS degree doesn't guarantee you a job either. There are a lot of jobs, but it's still really competitive. The interviews are very technical and you have to show your knowledge to interviewers on the spot.
So, it's not like it's incredibly easy. If you're going to have to work hard for something, may as well do something you like.

Its not as competitive where im at. Its literally the best degree in terms of employment and job security in my country. Theres a lack of comp engineers here
