Does /g/ mix different sticks of RAM?
I have some extra PC3U Samsung memory that I would like to use in computer as a RAM disk, and I am currently using regular PC3 Crucial Ballistix Sports memory.
What would happen if I inserted the different sticks?

The system will automatically clock ALL of the ram to the slowest timings.
So if you have DDR3 1833 and add some older DDR3 1333. All of the RAM will run at 1333, with the appropriate timings
