My android tablet is now randomly resetting itself from time to time when I have it in my pocket, so I'm out of this game.
It's slowly dying.

Have you at least automated this task or do you turn your computer on/off manually like some computer illiterate?

I've adjusted my life around my cronjob schedule. Anytime my computer shuts off I know its time for bed.

How much it cost your last electric bills.

54309579 here

They're both laptops. Mine uses 18w at idle, so approximately about $1.20/month

OP has an MBA, which uses 2w with display, and 0w without (with no CPU load).

Why don't you learn to read uname so you don't look like a dumbass next time.

Something below 90 days. I shutdown my laptop when I move it and my Server reboots if uptime reaches 90 days.

What's uptime?
>>
>>54314044
that's a server, not a desktop
>>
>>54308542
8 days on my nas
1 on my laptop
3 on my desktop
and almost 1 on any other computer that's in my house.
>>
>>54311150
uname doesn't tell you how much the computer costs you a month.
>>
>>54314659
Nobody said anything about desktops retard

Also that's almost definitely a router or some other networking harder rather than a server

so... do you just have pending updates for kernel/gpu stuff?

you can even tell me you do kernel livepatching (which I haven't figured out how to do yet) but if you have an nvidia gpu then you're restarting at least once a month probably

>>54315421
The windows machine is just for vidya and netflix, I have a few Linux machines for everything else.

I'd have posted my laptop uptime instead, but it's only at 112 days (systemd decided it was going to start automatically suspending the computer on lid close, but doing that triggers a bios bug and the machine just locks up)

Unless you're running a server, just fucking turn the computer off like a normal person. It's faggots like you that are a threat to the environment.
