Pretty much this. I've owned 3 consecutive Samsung devices, and they shat all over each one. They'd release and eventually force a broken, half-assed android OS update practically a year late and refuse to touch the device any longer as they've released 2 new phones since. They're becoming terrible with locking the boot loader, as well, so you can't flash or use root privileges to fix anything, either. If they'd just cut this shit out, they'd have some really nice phones. They've pretty much lost my loyalty permanently.

Not for me, especially with multitasking. Stuff starts to freeze up, and when listening to ABGT podcasts or whatever on soundcloud and stopping it to go to work, it's so annoying to go back to the app later just to have it refresh and lose your place. Also, there are some webpages I can't load because of the lack of memory. They're shitty, horribly designed webpages, but it's still inconvenient.
I just got a g5 and it's super responsive and the wide angle camera is fun.
Got a free battery and 360 degree camera as well so that I can take 360 pics and look around them in vr.

More memory in a phone typically isn't used for a single application, it's for running multiple applications at a time. It's for more efficient and reliable multitasking.
I really like the phone. The aesthetics, the design is sexy as fuck, the display is gorgeous, and I love the stereo speakers (even though the top is fucking way louder than the bottom, and they're both super quiet until you max them out).
But the 810 leaves a LOT to be desired. If they'd waited for the 820, then it'd be a perfect 10/10.

That thing is a piece of shit, I had the Leon/Tribute 2 and the battery doesn't last long unless you're in standby. I had to put an extended 2300mah battery in (it only comes with a 1900) but the ear speaker quality and the rear buttons were deal breakers.
