It is THE go-to program for automatically backing up your drivers. Sure you can do it manually, but it's quite a mess with all the files. If you miss even one of them, when you go to restore your backup, you'll have errors.

Technically, you don't even need such a program but if you do want the convenience, you certainly MUSTN'T pay for some random proprietary garbage that might not get updated ever again.
Manjaro and I believe Ubuntu both have something similar that works great and it's free software.
